Totally had it with this. I died at 1.275.000 XP...

I never farmed for XP, just did it by doing all quests and capping skills. Well, at least I am 6 caps away from adept skill hunter, but that is NOT what I was aiming for. Damnit.

Well, bright side is that I could start doing PvP with this char

Haven't read through the whole topic yet (just the few few posts), so I apologize if someone already mentioned this.

One of the biggest things to take into consideration is lag. Even if you have a perfect connection, lets face it, GW doesn't. GW servers will lag you once in a while and chances are your own connection isn't perfect and will lag you every once in a while as well.

So basically if you see a mob or whatever, that if you get a 5 second or so lag spike, will kill you, then avoid that mob.

My warrior died to lag

Was farming minos, then 1 time I get like the biggest freakin' mino spawn I have ever seen. So I am thinking "woot, tons of exp". So I run in, start doing the routine and then boom got about a 7 second lag spike and im dead.

perhaps you had a group of 7 guildies that did the missions while u trailed farther behind and did nothing.. got them to kill mobs and boss and you brg ur capture and get the elites... this still doesnt mean u were in the heat of the battle... unless you can prove this was done with henchman the whole time

Lol...actually, i'm working on my ranger, doing through missions, quests are done mostly with henchies as real people have gotten my past attempts killed...

My assassin died at lvl19 at Sy's suggestion that i run myself to kaineng from marketplace, and let's just say there was a bad spawn of afflicted...

My first attempt at survivor was with a ranger who died at 1.107 mil xp...bad capping run in ferndale...let's just say with alt f4, there's a 2 second delay or so before you're acutally kicked from the server. Best new way to rage quit...f12 and enter. logs you out instead of closes program. works far better.

I am now at 1.1mio XP with my Ritu. I have spend all my skillpoints (~110) for the eliteskills. Done all kurzick and luxon quests on Cantha. I havn't done the last 3 missions because I know that they are very hard. I think that it is time to travel to Tyria to get the last 240k xp.

Don't know if this has been said before..
Get the Brother Tosai quest but don't do it, now the Am Fah are your friends!
The next step is to do all the quests in Waijun Bazaar(without fighting any enemies)

Quests:
Guardsman Pah: Medical Emergency
Officer Chitaro: Luxury Goods
Kaya: Little Lost Bear
Paomu: Problem Salving
Saito: Assassination Attempt
Guardsman Ping: Eliminate the Am Fah
Guildmaster Luan: The Emperor in Peril
Guildmaster Luan: The Plot Thickens
Xunlai Agent Honlo: The Xunlai Agent(Not sure)
Imperial Guardsman Kintae: The Afflicted Guard(To do this quest just wait for the guards to kill him)
Quests are almost all 3,000 exp each so that should give you a big boost

You can do all of these quests with almost no fighting whatsoever.And if you need to fight something just stand back and send in your henchies with ctrl+shift+space

I really do think this title needs to be fixed. I'm not about to restart my ranger. FoW armor...all skills unlocked...its just not gonna happen. I wish they made this title so that at any given time you can earn it. Example. A charater you have before titles were made has 1mil. xp. if you go for so long with out dieing and gain so much xp you should gain teir 1. This would allow all your charaters to gain this title with out having to remake them all.

I say if ya want the title just get a few guildies to scrimage you and get them to let you repeatedly kill them for the exp. Pretty much the *safest* way to go.

I got two survivors, Mesmer who I henched up quite a while (even made it through Vizunah Square in a PUG) until I made a little.. pathing error

Doing it on my Ritualist now, pretty sure it ends at Vizunah square tho

Vizunah is not a hard mission, just make sure there is at least a good MM and at least one good monk, you rarely get touched by afflicted.All of the quests in the game, are completable with henches (except i have a little trouble with Defenders of the forest with the henches agroing everything.) Passing the game is the easy part. Getting the last 200k xp or so without dying because you find yourself doing stupid things like capping skills in unwaking waters is the hard part....the first 1.1million...easy....

To get to zen daijun is what...5 hours work? Why not just rebuild if you're going for survivor?
